i voted this photo much higher. although it is "just a camera" it really strikes me as a portrait rather than a product shot. the tones and the reflection in the lens is what did it for me. good job.

i really loved this shot. IMO it should have done WAY better. this is the perfect example of a great shot that isnt "DPC friendly". lame. i think its beautiful.

i love the tones you got on this, by erring on the side of sharpness and texture you brought out the personality of the petals themselves rather than writing them off as objects meant to look soft and uniform; textureless. the title fits it perfectly as well :)

i changed my mind. this is my favorite picture of yours! the olive tones in this are so great! it sings of cold, winter withering. as if you are zooming in focusing to capture this leafs last breath.

i really love this faceless expression of casually waiting. my mind almost fills in the rest of the picture: a business man, middle aged, clean shaven with mid length peppery hair, covered mostly by his wallstreet-esque fedora, copy of german equivalent of NY times obscuring most of his face. waiting patiently as he has done for years. the train comes without fail.

this might be my favorite from your portfolio just because ive never seen water look so soft, even in 5 minute exposure "DPClassic sunrise shots" ( what i like to call the inevitable winners of every challenge). rather than the exposure making the water soft looking the reflected bokeh and the hard contrasty forms of the pebbles create this serene feel that i get from the shot
