Timeby silverhawkComment: I was just browsing the Macro challenge and came across your image. If this doesn't win a prize, I will want to know why. Great shot.
On the more mundane technical front: The depth of field defocused the left hand screw and the hub of the watch/clock hands. I don't know what you could have done, but I am told that the depth of field extends further away from the camera than toward it. Perhaps bringing the focus a little closer and keeping the mechanism a little more parallel to the camera sensor could have sharpened the shot. I do like the effect of the slight rotation as it gives a more interesting view of the gear works. |

()by escapetoozComment: I stumbled across your photo when browsing. The thumbnail caught my attention and I feel it really deserves some comments. The model, the photographer (?), is lovely. In my not so humble opinion is that your image suffers from an unfortunate arm position. It puts skin in a position to suggest it is something other than a forearm.
Had I taken a photo and if I had thought about it at the time, I would have moved head so that the model is looking into frame instead of out of frame. I quite like the silhouette of the right side of the model's face.
All in all, I really like the photo. |

honey, can you help me with this?by laurie241Comment: Perhaps the frame could have included the lady's entire head and just a little less of "honey's" arm. Including the wedding ring is a nice touch whether on accident or on purpose. |

Mother, Fatherby hhuddleComment: Great shot showing both current intimacy and suggesting previous intimacy. Both future parents (?) appear to be focused on the product of "Intimacy". Nice lighting control. Love the shot. |

CJby notesinstonesComment: Interesting photo... nice low key lighting ... feeling of privacy ... but the expression on the female model's face leaves me very cold. I get the feeling she is "putting up with" the advances of the male. This image holds my attention, but it does so by leaving me with considerable anxiety. So, I guess it is an excellent shot. |

"love said."by mariomundoComment: Enough said. Great framing, lighting. It looks like the shot is a little out of focus. |
