Mariaby BrennanOBComment: This is a very nicely framed shot with the slope of the arm mimicking the slope of the tree branch. I don't know what you would do about them, but the reflections of the leaves are very bright and the large bright spot directly above the model's head is distracting. |

Madison County Iowaby pncowleyComment: Nice location. I have been to Madison County and visited the bridges. It is a great idea. I like the pose, but the shadow hides the model's face. You might have been able to use a reflector or some fill flash to light her face. I have a real nitpick... the leaves in the background look over sharpened. In fact, with the multiple pass image loading made the bright spots very evident, but that wouldn't be the case with a print. |

Radianceby TheImageryComment: I love the "old slide" feel the color balance and soft focus brings to this. This looks like it could have been an old Twiggy image from the 60s. If that is the look you were seeking, you found it! |

An Accidental Close Upby JoAnna3853Comment: Not bad for an accident. Very interesting crop leaving enough of the face to tell the viewer this is a thinking woman. I like the soft focus feel, but it is a pity that the accident couldn't have focused her eye a bit better. Great light. |

More Than A Womanby jonfrommkComment: Impossible... There isn't anything more than a woman, and this one gets full marks. I love the expression. Great dimples. I think I would have liked to see the eyes a little clearer, and have her eyes a little less centered in the frame. But she is so lovely and her expression so wonderful, it overwhems any possible negatives that might be suggested. |

Pensiveby quiapzComment: Perfect name for this photo. I think you hit the scale of the scene just right and while I would have liked to be a little closer to your model, I don't think I can this time. |

One Tough Cookieby JeniYComment: I passed by this photo several times. I was determined to cast a vote for it, but it took some time to decide how I felt about it. From a technical point of view, the shot is wonderful:great lighting, focus, tone, and the rest. I might offer an alternate title...something about being a loner. She doesn't look particularly tough, but she is clearly not going to be the life of the party.
Great shot. |

Mistyby sfmorrisComment: Very nicely done. I think I like the two tops; she is ready for anything. The lighting with the hint of halo in her hair is great. |

Deathby meyersComment: Interesting title for someone so obviously filled with spirit; a very pretty model. Great DOF control. My only comment is that you blew out her shoulder. This might have made good use of a portrait crop instead of the landscape view. |
