Portrait of my wife on the famed Cedar Bridge in Madison County Iowa. I preferred the black/white to color, and my wife and I both liked the border. Uncropped from the camera. Adjusted histograms to bring out a bit more of the shadows around my wife's face, desaturated, bumped up contrast a bit, resized, sharpened, added border by increasing canvas size.

Hope you like it as much as I do.

hate the graffitti, but the pose is nice, and the tones are good

I really liked this. Black and White made it interesting.

I like the concept, but unfortunatly she is too much in the shadows to get s good look at her

Nice pose, and a great setting.
She has a real pretty face, it hard to see though.

Needs a bit more light on her face. Maybe shoot from the other side of the bridge?

background overwhelms the portrait style

Nice location. I have been to Madison County and visited the bridges. It is a great idea. I like the pose, but the shadow hides the model's face. You might have been able to use a reflector or some fill flash to light her face. I have a real nitpick... the leaves in the background look over sharpened. In fact, with the multiple pass image loading made the bright spots very evident, but that wouldn't be the case with a print.

This is a very well composed portrait. I would have like to have seen just a bit more light on her face to help me be able to see her a bit better.
