Wonder wallby FirstyComment: Is this wall curved? The lines sort of hint at a curvature. |

clever design unfoldingby trainComment: Honestly, I'd have preferred this in nature instead of still life. But if a natural shot weren't possible, I'd suggest using something other than white for your background. |

Sea Shell Patternsby bobonacusComment: Probably the only shot in the challenge where I am going to support the randomness of your subject. You did a brilliant job showing the variations that nature has added to the simple shell pattern. |

Around in Circlesby cstein96Comment: Very effective intrepretation of the challenge. My only issue is your dof choice. Is there a reason why you chose the center of the fence? There is no visual clue as to the importance of that area. I would suggest bring everything forward or moving everything back. |

Earth to earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dustby BrokenPelvisComment: I'm assuming the pattern is that of the grave markers. The fence in the foreground is pulling my attention (maybe the fence is the pattern.) That being said, there is so much dark sky that it overwhelms this shot, the angle of shot obscures the markers and the dof brings everything forward. Again, those are criticisms if the markers are your subject. If the fence is the subject...the sky overwhelms, the markers demand too much attention...maybe they shouldn't be there at all. If the sky is your subject, I think perhaps this should be in a different challenge all together. ;) |
