Hipsby dsmilComment: hmmm.
First of all the white background does nothing for this. It washes out the skin tone.
Second, the blue is a bit much. It actually draws my attention to the butt and torso instead of the hips.
Third, the black shoes, well the feet in general, are not important to this shot and could be cropped out, imo.
I do like the waist jewelry, as it surrounds and brings attention to the hips/waist. The dangle actually falling to the hip level is what does it. |

eyelashby kolasiComment: Intersting reflection in the eye. Most times, I would give a lower vote for something like that, but this time, there is a story being told in that reflection. You can see what the child is interested in, it adds a bit of personality to your subject. |

One Look and I was Hookedby Mike_AdamsComment: The reflection in the pupil diminishes any personality or twinkle that might have been there. This could be a glass eye for all I can tell. |

Catch The Flameby SherwinJamesComment: Way to complement the skin tone with the flower and the background. Nothing jumps out over anything else and all work well together. |

little feetby laurie241Comment: The coloring may be too bright. I actually like the fact that I can see the action in the back. The story is more complete. Some people might have issues and suggest more blur on the back. |

Desperateby banmornComment: Too much processing for my tastes. My personal rule of thumb is...
either process to enhance something that is missing, or go so far that you create something unexpected.
Neither of which I see, sorry.
Art speaks differently to different people. |

Hands of the Tradeby LaMasComment: The justaposition of the hardened hands displayed in a soft manner is interesting, however, for me, I lose the story. Don't stop attempting these shots, because I am only one person. |

In God's Imageby TacTZillaComment: Sometimes a second look is a good thing...
At first, I didn't quite get this, but after coming back to it, I think I do. I generally don't like it when the focal point is smack dab in the middle (unless the entire image is in in focus), but this one is growing on me. |
