Ashley River Trioby EBJonesComment: So much going on here. The boats are really the last thing I see. What does this look like in the daylight? |

Old Boat at Dungenessby joelantunesComment: Well done on the composition. There is a lot of very interesting things to look at. I think the sepia presentation (or any atonal presentation) sort of makes everything the same...thus you lose some of the dimension that exists naturally. (I could be wrong, I don't have the colored shot to compare it to.) |

Dragging The Lineby HipychikComment: This shot could exist with or without the boat, making it very unique to me. Sometimes when I look at it, I see the landscape first, sometimes the boat is seen first. |

Saint Josephby ososnilknarfComment: Catching the sunrise/sunset at that perfect moment shining through the windows of the St. Joseph is wonderful. Add the pink of the clouds and you have a very surreal, yet subtle shot. The subtlness is such an opposite to the hard rust lines and obvious strength of the boats. I bet you get a wide range of scores on this. |

Buoyancy Streetby TonyTComment: I'm working really hard on finding a focal point. To me it looks like it is the forefront of the deck...eveything behind the natural plank line (near the front ropes) seems oof to me. Sorry. |

Driftingby CharleneComment: Well, kudos for using catalog/magazine paper for your toy boat. That adds some visual interest. But unfortunately, art speaks differently to different people and this just isn't speaking to me. |

Beached by the storm.by RamblinRComment: Interesting choice going with b&w. You could have just as much impact showing in color and just calling it "Beached." |
