Camembert-potato casseroleby johnmkComment: This is a lovely setup; I wish it had been cropped a bit more tightly vertically, as I find the shape beyond the edge of the counter very distracting - my eyes come back to it as least as often as your main subjects, despite the way the color tends to encourage me to look at them. I'm looking forward to seeing the recipe; it certainly makes an attractive dish, from what we can see here! |

Strawberry peaches and cream rainbow tartsby neenee1999Comment: Okay, I just ate and here you are making me hungry.... The one thing I would suggest is that a softer light source would have helped - there's a lot of reflections/glare, and it looks a bit splotchy (probably because of the shapes that are catching the light). The presentation as you set it up is so pretty.... (Now, for voting to finish so I can see the recipe!) |

Full Moon Risingby DiamondPeteComment: Nice moon shot - I like the fact that it is not glaring out the entire picture, as is all too easy to do in these shots. The mood of this image is great. After I stare at it a while, I notice it feels a little tilted - which may be what the land there really did, judging from the near tree; it's when I look to the right half of the image that that starts to get to me mildly. |

Roots...exposedby neenee1999Comment: This definitely exposes things, but as an image it seems to lack clarity - the roots are all surrounded by jagged edges on my screen, as are the lines of the vase, but the marbles at the bottom are cloudy.... Not sure if that is just the image quality, or is more the lighting. |

Fog Cityby Pep VentosaComment: Really like the soft look here, the fog and the way it plays with the light. I could easily see this on a postcard - it's wonderful, and the exposure is great, as is the focus - this is as crisp as it can be, and still look right with the fog. |

Are they buildings or commercials?by carrieannComment: Wow. Nice, nice exposure/focus on this one - raelly stunning how crisp it is, and how much of the crowd you can see without losing detail in the brighter areas. This is gorgeous. |

My town's libraryby Bela45Comment: This is a nice library - lots of artifacting/diagonal lines in the curved edges of window and building, and to a lesser degree in the square roof to the left, though. |

Rooftopsby dr rickComment: I really like the contrast of the different styles and colors. The similar lines and forms present here and there unify it enough to keep it from feeling over-busy, for me anyway. |

How high can we get?by zerocusaComment: A bit of leaning at the edges from the distortion of the wide-angle shot, but what a lovely scene. I like the light and the character of the clouds, and the fact that the buildings are so crisp for their size in the photo. |

View of Downtown Kitchener over Parkby rgordonComment: I like the downtown skyline. The nearer houses being mostly obscured by trees, don't work so well for me, and the bright foreground lights draw my eye into the mostly-empty space there, rather than focussing on the more distant buildings/lights, which seem more attractively exposed. |
