Thinks this is very good, especiatlly the detail and the great shadows. Just a bit too much light in some areas, particularly the angel's left wing. The angel's right eye looks a bit off.

the white balance might have been chosen better in this...do like the relative quick shutter speed used I'm guessing with a high speed and flash and the capture of the flakes of snow, but that eechy color from about two third down up is not pleasing.

Light Play

Its is a very nice effect. It is dimished by the size, I thnk. I would have tried to get in closer on this and maybe used a vertical orientation so that the effective of your lighting inside the glass was more evident and where it is most interesting.

Like the RGB selection of filters, Like the Idea, but the shadow accross half of the blue eye just doesn't help here.

Purple Haze

I think I might have done something about the few hot spots on this. They are not really high lighting the piece and are distracting. The color of purple of the vase(?) and the background are quite lovely as is the combination of the blue and purple. Nice lighting except for the nits.

Like the lighting, well maybe except for the blowout on the right, and the colors and the detail...just don't like the subject... Great shadow, like the colors as they diminish beyond the subject.

the sacra couer effect from the blowout might have been dealt with, I think...Maybe light through caus from above... The halo effect is quite good on the cross, .perhaps you could have masked the areas of your lighting equipment so they did not hit the metallic statue as harshly as it did. Don't know for sure. Very nice effort and good detail on the statue and cross.

Hmmm.likee the idea of the framing with bottom rose going over the frame, nice touch....but you might thin about losing the bit of stem below the frame...it's a bit distracting. Very nice lighting , exposure and detail and I like the perspective of the roses from front to back.
