Thrill seekersby sfaliceComment: I like the idea but feel that the lines of the roller coaster tracks are not leading me to the subjects. I'm not sure how you could have shot it not knowing the park or the set up of the ride but I think, at least, a more severe angle down or up might have been better. I do like the negagtive space and the fine colors. |

Sunday Paperby Keith ManiacComment: I like this as an abstract, with all the great colored red seats and the superb composition leading to the titled subject. The subject is a bit small for my liking and, being the subject, the man and the paper might have occupied more of the frame with less of the chairs. But the set up is great and I like the Gehryesque wall in the background which could have been straightened with a perspective or distortion tool with out losing the flow. Nice use of the thirds as well. Overall, I really like this a lot! |

Let's fly a Kiteby XileboComment: The foreground plants distract me a bit from the kid holding the kit. I like the idea of this very much but think that you might have composed it better with bit less foreground and the kid and kite over a bit more to the right and have more sky above the kite. It looks a little cramped to me. THe tail of the kite though is positioned pretty good so my suggestion might not have worked unless the wind blew a bit differently. All in all a good example of the challenge theme. |

Botanical Discoveryby notbiscuitComment: I'm not sure but should the line obscure the subject...or should they just lead too the subject....I'm thinking it is the latter. A better shot for the challenge might hav been to have picked one of the sections and shot the garden through it there by seeing more of the subject and less of all the lines It might have been more of a framing challenge shot but I think enough of the lines included about the circle would have got you by.. I can see your attraction to all the shadows but they really don't lead any where to me. |

Bridge 72by mrmorrisComment: A two for one special, the wall of the bridge at left leads me right to the subject as does the patch of green and the water....so actually that is three....nope the line of the trees at right lead me there to....well sort of...but it is one of the better examples I've seen so far, great colors/exposure on top of it and reflections of the bridge in the water. Super....my only possible nit is that the bit of white fencing to the right of the bridge just seems out of place but it is as found so I'll let it go. Good luck! |
