W E L Dby XMountaineerComment: Nice action - could do with being straightened.
I like the little tendrils of light after the sparks. It would perhaps be more involving if we were closer to the thing being welded so that we could identify it, as much of the lower portion of your frame is irrelevant. A rectangular crop mid way through the shot would make it stronger in my view. |

Hot skyby anferhComment: Great cloud, if a little too distant in terms of challenge theme. |

Solar Rider by APComment: Striking shot (probably the winning one) with a great sky. The silhouette is a little indistinct in places but I like the horse stance.
It's just a big shame that it's so sharpened that it's created a distracting halo, although it's possibly intentional. You need to be careful with your border too (see bottom edges).
Personally, I'd prefer it much less extreme as it would add so much more gravitas to the photo. |

Midnight Tranquility by AlexSaberiComment: As always, sumptuous to behold.
This is a classic example of how a simple subject can be made to look super-special with a bit of savvy and creative vision. You've taken a shot I would love to have shot myself, and the whole series is a credit to your regard for nature and your stamina to find consistent resource in one area. |

Colors of the Lion City by andrewtComment: Wow - you've caught a road-laying machine in action, on water. Clever stuff! It's amazing how the traffic starts almost immediately too. Busy, busy, busy. |

The Swirls of Summerby NeilComment: Great viewpoint and, with the benefit of many thousands more pixels, I bet this looks wonderful. |

June Stormby BpaigeComment: I can't recall seeing such calm skies with a subject like this in view. Amazing capture and so oddly clean. Nice one. |
