Silky Turbulenceby ShamanComment: Impressive subject but just a bit too overexposed. A Neutral Density filter would resolve this in future. |

Once In A Lifetimeby macrothingComment: Striking abstract - like it.
Some colour noise present which can be reduced by converting to LAB colour in PS and blurring channels 'a' and/or 'b'. (Plenty of alternative methods too.) |

Spring activityby silverscreenComment: Sweet subject. Just lacking in creative engagement. Your subject is everything and, being honest, the click of the shutter in auto mode is all that's required to achieve this. To bring a twist to this shot, I think you could;
> avoid centering or move further above and 'lose' your frogs in the duckweed;
> get closer and lower catching their eyes in reflection with a narrow DOF;
> try contrasty black and white to help camouflage the subjects and give viewers some 'work' to do. |

Mid-flowby olbolComment: Over-sharpened, but an attractive subject and composition. |

I dare you!by MotekComment: Excellent viewpoint and the kind of thing I like to try myself. Compositionally it's a tad awkward, so a squarer crop losing the path on the right may improve it. I don't know why you felt you needed to de-saturate. It doesn't look bad - just a bit ominous - when in fact your shot is more humourous. Good luck. |

amphibiousby whiteroomComment: Love the toning here. Your processing has left a halo around the figure though, which reduces the sense of purity, but it's still a satisfying shot to behold. |

Float Onby SherwinJamesComment: Nicely observed - an intriguing subject. I just wish you'd rotated to horizontal as the slope is distracting. Good DOF. |

Precious water. Thank you for not wasting it.by h2Comment: A more interesting execution of the cliche water drop. This is punchy and graphical with a delectable quality through colour and clarity. I'd like to have seen a more identifiable flower form (tulip?) in the droplet and composition is bottom-heavy, but this will surely appeal to the smooth-centric voters here at DPC! You may end up with a coloured gif next to your title by the end. |
