Sunset with a Full Belly of Fishby mindbottlingComment: I'd have cropped out the sun highlights here - leaving focus on your beautiful pelican. The water is unimportant to your subject, except for the effect it has on it. |

Emptyby phloverComment: The subject is strong here, but I can't help feel that this could have been better composed. Getting a little lower and shooting an arc from closer on the left round to the distant right perhaps may have been stronger. |

A Bench With a View by bobonacusComment: Lovely moment - and a great sky. The boat does not look like one at this size though - more like a spec of dust. Great shadow of the bench. |

Companyby IraklisComment: Very sweet shot. Like the sense of lives passing at different paces, but meeting in the middle for this one moment. Crop is too tight for me though - was this necessary to remove extraneous interference? |

Campus in Fallby goinskiingComment: Oh yes, there it is!
Not exactly the focal point here, but I suppose it is conspicuously un-sat-on. |

Icarus!by macrothingComment: Intriguing shot - a little too sharp but definitely memorable. Like the subdued colour, although that highlight feels just too obtrusive and it would have been more atmospheric to have a perfect exposure and fairly dim mood. |

Dance of the veil by IreneMComment: This is obviously an accomplished shot but this kind of thing needs to be hangable to make it art, and currently the colour in this feels a bit drab and the viewpoint too high, so that the process looks too understandable (if that makes sense). A 90 degree plane with the water surface may yield more intrigue.
Just a couple of additional points: 1. it's over-sharpened, so I'd hold back a bit as it can spoil the subtleties, and it seems you've sharpened after adding a border. I'd do that last so you get a clean edge. 2. composition is a little awkward as it's neither centred or thirds, etc..
Cheers

Doin' Yardworkby klkitchensComment: Great viewpoint - strong composition with the interest increased by the absence of a face. Just a cool shot really. |

Carbon Copies by jegerComment: Very intriguing - as it looks like a street covered in lawn! Very surreal and what a weirdly fun looking place to kick a football. I bet this is a fantastic place for kids to play with each other. It doesn't get safer than this. Great, social BBQs too.
Your shot is well chosen and shot. The con trail somehow helps too. Good luck.
My favourite in the challenge I think, and it will tick many voters' boxes too. |
