Love it. Great capture, looks like he's "giving you the eye." "Get the heck outta my house" kind of look. Since the log is so much a part of this I would have gone for a little more DOF on the left side of the log but kept the rest blurred out. Warm feeling on the colors contrasts interestingly with the stern look on his face.

Nice job! Like the texture/feeling. Color is right-on. I can see shadow off to the left - maybe need a little fill light from the back? And it tells a story - nice.
