darkness at noonby herfotomanComment: Intriguing. Good BW. Bleak as the title. I do not know what I would have done differently. 6 |

The Sun Also Risesby MarfunComment: I personally would have tried to take the pic a bit earlier. If circumstances did not allow I would have tried to underexpose a bit as the sun look blown out. Nevertheless is a nice entry, warm tones and soft focus. Could also have cloned out some of the spots on the water. 6 |

Fanny Hillby disassociationComment: Very bold entry. The lighting is a bit off. The spot on the hip distracts a bit. Maybe the circumstances did not allow but I would have played more with the poses and the light. 6 |

Snow Whiteby PennyStreetComment: Could be a good candid but I find it a bit more of a stretch. Sorry I don't get it 4 |

The Black Swan by Nassim Nicholas Talebby BenstedComment: Good subject. I would have liked the focus to be spot on to bring out more details - could be the camera limitations. I also do not like the crop on the top but that might be all you could get. For me is just a 5 Good luck. |

"Something Wicked This Way Comes" by Ray Bradburyby ThingFishComment: Good find. But... The foreground is way to busy for me. My eyes are trying hard to find what's going on there loosing the something to come... A bit too much of the sky as well. I would have cropped the top to emphasize the clouds. 6 |

Don Quixote (de la mancha) by HarlequinComment: It does depict the windmill but it lacks the fight. It also appears to be a replica and looses authenticity. The composition is fine but the whites are to dim hence lacking contrast. 4 |
