Solitudeby ZoomdakComment: I have knocked other images for having the horizon so slose to the center of the image but it works very well here creating an artificial symmetry that has interesting compositional elements that balance one another in both halves of the frame. the clouds offset the water ripples and the rock provides the focal point. well exposed and great colors! |

forever and a dayby grigrigirlComment: very nice high key bridal shot. I love the toning of the plants and trees behind her and the way she is holding her veil. The pillars compete somewhat with the bride as main focal point ratyher than framing elements but the image is nicely balanced overall. |

Parrot Portraitureby buzzrockComment: another beautiful bird closeup profile. terrific feather details and beak textures. white areas in the face are blown out a bit. |

Bear River Marshesby dsidwellComment: great exposure and color. some of the foreground water could have been cropped out to better balance the image, but overall, this is a lovely landscape. |

Ethan, Dirty Face and Allby smellyfish1002Comment: I'm very mixed on this portrait. I love the overall composition and toning. His eyes alone are simply amazing. The dirt and grime on the face though turns me off. It just doesn't fot the look of the image. I could see his grimey look in a candid, but this has such a great casual portrait feel to it and the dirt just blows it for me. Not entirely though, cause I still rank it an 8 just for his eyes. |

Warmthby joannsComment: outstanding portrait. she has a gorgeous face with beatutiful lips and skin tone and sparkling eyes. I like the relaxed pose and the cool headband. I think it could have been slightly improved with more modern or minimalist props to compliment her simple black shirt and the geometric pattern on the headband, but tis works great as is as well. a fantastic portrait. |

Red Dragonby JackoComment: great pose with the dragonfly perfectly mirroring the profile of the flower. colors and strong and vibrant. depth of field is too shallow though for a shot pulled back this much an I don't like the hotspot on the fly's eye. |

Vickiby KonadorComment: beautiful image with good use of shallow depth of field. The fillagree earring adds some nice ornamentation to her beautiful face. great eyes, although they seem a bit flat without catchlights. The hair lighting is excellent. since we can't see her whole necklace, what is visible around her neck is distracting, but this is a lovely portrait. |
