I think I would like this very much without the red border. 6

Excellent and imaginative use of Photoshop. Shame you didn't make the background uniformly dark though. Not sure about your ratio of subject to negative space. Really don't like the red in your border. 7

Fantastic idea, but I'd like to suggest you shoot your subject in full light, and then use Photoshop to make it appear darker. There's way too much noise in this shot. 6

I had this shot sitting on 9 for a few days, but I had to bump it up to 10 after taking another look. One of the best and most imaginative autumn pics I've seen. Great minimalist feel. Lovely use of light and shadows. Perfect dof. I love the composition. The saturation is spot-on. Only the title doesn't do the photo justice. 10

Fantastic shot, I'll be amazed if this doesn't get a blue ribbon. The composition doesn't quite work for me, but I think this is a personal issue and this is still my favourite shot this challenge. It's the moon that really makes this shot special. Wonderful timing to capture this shot under just the right light conditions. I love the (NeatImaged?) graduated blues and reds in the sky. Well done for taking a well known landmark and making something a little different with it. 10

Well taken photo, good technique. Now, I'm as much of a cat lover as the next person, but this is just so unbelievably kitsh it's not true. Great textures, the composition doesn't quite work for me. I think it looks like the photographer centred the whole cat in the shot, implying that the centre of focus is in the middle of the frame, whereas it's really the head. I think you have a good career ahead of you making greetings cards for old grandmothers! ;-) 7

Such a shame you didn't make your image larger. A border would have really helped IMO as well. I like the selective desaturation and the unusual composition. 6

Beautiful and appropriate picture, somewhat spoiled by an obtrusive and over-the-top unnecessary border. 6

Great picture, which has been spoilt for me here by an extremely huge amount of sharpening. 6
