Reminds me very much of Kiwiness' shot, and I'm afraid this one doesn't have quite the same impact. I wish more of the snout were visible, as it takes a little while to work out what is facing which direction. Just a little more dof would have been great. Love the blurred green. 7

This is a wonderful shot, great expression and colours. The composition doesn't quite work for me, I'm wondering why a square format was used? Everything seems awkwadly placed within the frame. I REALLY wish she was looking at the bubble in the shot, rather than off-frame. Although NeatImage could kill this shot, I can't help thinking just a little would help reduce the very large amount of noise in this shot. 7

Lovely shot, nice and clear. I would have liked the eye to be a lot clearer though... it seems a bit dark here. I love the texture of the feathers. Nicely exposed, effective blurred background. Shame the tail isn't in focus. 7

Very nice shot, but I wish the face was as sharp as the suit, the texture you've captured is great! I'm not really sure a square crop works for me here... I think your idea may have been to have the cup as the pof using rule of thirds, but it is the face that I focus on, and it seems awkwadly placed in the frame. I would have liked the face just a bit better lit... the brightness in the rest of the frame is quite distracting. A nice moment captured though. 7

Wow... stopped motion water shots are always a good bet. Initially looks nice and sharp, but on closer inspection looks oversharpened... I suspect because the dof may not have been deep enough. Great assortment of colours. Looks a little like too much time was spent in PS tinkering... beyond the point of no return! A beautiful image though. 8

Stunning sky, good composition. Effective range of colours. Not quite enough to stop my eye from wandering out of the frame though. 8

Superb b&w, works very well with this sky. Great detail and sharpness. The composition is a little too cluttered for me to give this top marks though. 8

Breathtaking... I wish I was an early person so I at least had a chance of ever capturing a photo like this. Not quite sure why you went for an almost square crop... I'd have preferred the traditional dimensions. 8

This shot stood out straightaway in the thumbnails, and is just fantastic... wonderful composition, colours and PS work (or filters). Reminds me of a Joe Cornish (high praise). However, the quality lets this down a bit... it's been horribly oversharpened, look at the beach on the right below the cliffs... and there's artifacting everywhere. The edge of the cliffs shows bad haloing from sharpening. A huge shame. 8

Beautiful assortment of colours, extremely well lit. The background at the top left of the frame doesn't quite work for me, and I feel that the composition doesn't really do this magnificent lighting justice. 8
