Duskby ErikVComment: I love the colors, but I would like to see more detail in the rock jetty and on the tree horizon. I don't know if ashadow/highlights mask would work with your capture, but give it a shot. Right now, you have an amazing sky and a lackluster foreground that is distracting me from the sunset--and it shouldnt. |

Fourtyby JibComment: The image is too flat. I would recommend reshooting with an artificial light source, directed across the records--you'll get some nice contrast and depth to the image. Toy around with some extra light (or higher exposures) and see what you like |

The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man (Psalms 94/11)by OdedComment: You've done a good job capturing the range of highlights in the image. This doesn't look like a posed image, and in my experiance its really hard to capture your intended emotion/situation without some planning/posing. Currently, the emotional punch just isn't hitting hard enough. That being said, you do a great job with the image you had--7 |

Sunriseby GolferDDSComment: You've managed to preserve the detail on the water, coax out a fantastic red/orange sunset, and you woke up early in the morning to get this image, which earns points in my book. |

Sonata in Blueby levyj413Comment: So is this frozen blue water, in stacked wine glasses? I've always wondered about the technique that creates this effect. Whatever you did to creat it, you did it well |

Berri, South Australiaby SomeamateurComment: Fantastic reflection. You could probably have coaxed more out of the image with an overlay layer on the background, and a shadow/highlight mask on the sky. A different shadow/highlight mask would probably be needed for the buildings and trees, but there's alot of tonal potential here that I feel just isn't realized |

Ozark Afternoonby AwakeningComment: Well composed, but I wish the light was softer. Perhaps a different angle, or a gaussian blur. |

Sacred Mountainby darnoldComment: Fantastic HDR effect here. While I like the composition, I want the tree in the top right to be gone so I could see more of the sky, and possibly the sun. |
