I really love this series of shots. In particular, you are getting such amazingly clean detail. I do prefer the higher key of your previous chain and the lighting seems like it was more difficult to control on this one. It's still very effective and the water drops add a nice character the the texture.

Wow roz! I wish I had some constructive criticism, but it all looks fantastic to me. Love the composition, the background highlights the fly perfectly, you nailed the focus and got some great detail (the blobs at the head are a little odd looking). Nice work.

The extreme aperture give you great DOF but it also reveals some serious sensor dust too. The lighting could use some evening out but there's some great detail to enjoy in your shot.

Captivating texture. I have to say that I'm in the "not lovin' the centered composition" crowd and I think it's because the outer circles are slightly off center and that gives me an off balance feel. I do still like this shot a great deal however.

Wow. Every once in a while I am shocked to see a photo score so much lower than I scored it. The funny thing is that I'm fairly color blind and didn't even notice the yellows other commenters point out. Still looks b/w to me :)

Still, despite the DMNCs, this is a lovely photo and I hope you keep entering shots of this quality in the future.

I actually like the composition except for the pink blob on the lower left. My eyes were following the lines created by the petals very nicely. The shadow on the far right is slightly distracting as are the specks (water?) along the bottom. Those prongs coming out of the flower are a very interesting feature & I'd love to see those closer up if you end up shooting this flower again. Love the color especially.
