I like the textures in this shot. It wouldn't be as interesting without the texture of the table. Looking at the detail in the jack, I can totally remember the feeling of holding one of those things! Perhaps the DOF could have been a little larger (the back left ball looks a little soft) but other than that, nice job!

Wow! This is amazingly close! The hairs on the back of the bug are disturbingly gross! Great shot. Excellent control of reflections on the fly; I've taken bug macros before and their highly-reflective body/eyes make them a pain to shoot! Awesome job!

Great capture. Lots of action going on -- you can really feel the "energy" of the play in this shot. There is some subtle blurring going on which works here -- but the ball carrier's face is crisp which is very cool.

If only you had caught this shot a few hundred milliseconds earlier, it would have been perfect! The ball a few inches above his fingers would have given this a much more realistic look, since in my opinion it does look this could be "posed". Great clarity and DOF though!

Outstanding macro!! The detail is terrific, and the DOF, although very shallow, works very well in this composition. Well done! One of my favorites for this challenge.

Love the composition of this shot. A tad dark perhaps, but otherwise I like it a lot!

I like this shot a lot. I know how difficult it is to get large DOF on macro shots, but I think this shot would totally rock if the wings were less blurred. Great job.

The DOF in this shot is spectacular. I love how the bee and the flower are nice and crisp, and the other stuff is perfectly blurred. One of my favorites this challenge.
