Boundariesby LutchenkoComment: Normally a picket fence with pointed tips associates with a prim and proper yard and careful paint job. This one flies in the face of that concept, with rough cross pieces, heavy uprights, and additional upper elements all making this look rather crude and old. Good reasons to like it, and good job capturing it well. |

front windowby LelezComment: Difficult exposure situation handled with expertise great enough to preserve the essence of the leaves and flowers while allowing excellent detail in the objects inside. Great slice of life picture. Window reflections provide a bonus of additional environmental context. Very nice place captured in a very good image. |

Fire Escapeby L1Comment: Copared to the other two in your threesome, I like this one especially well because of the creative use of angularity. The reflected diagonal really enhances the actual fire escape. |

June 15 - Portraitsby hajekaComment: You captured the photo lady in a dynamic pose with excellent detail and lighting. Adding the thumbnail images on the left does convey the idea of shooting portriats - a compositional approach both unique and appropriate. |

Stretchingby MelethiaComment: Hmmmm, maybe those new cameras that can also tke movies will find a place in our hearts after all. Sounds like a great candidate situation. Even so, the sill image has a wonderful dynamic quality with the subject position implying motion and contrasting with the stiff upright elements in the background. Well captured combining simplicity with human interest. |

Cheap love by ZigomarComment: In the movie "Who Framed Roger Rabbit", humans and cartoons live side by side in adjacent parts of the city. Humans aren't allowed to enter Toon Town. This lady looks like she could be sitting very near that forbiden area. Wonderful capture. |

Roadside Beautyby L1Comment: Evocative photo for those who know the region. The big blue sky, green field, and bright flowers along the fence take me right back to memories of visiting grandparents in Kansas decades ago. I guess parts of Texas aren't so very far from there, at least as far as the plant life goes. |

Doors of San Antonioby cginoComment: Your choice of a close in view works really well here, putting just the right emphasis on the door details and wall texture. Have to agree that processing is excellent. |

Plastic Rocksby power47Comment: Looks like a rock climbing practice wall. Tangential approach adds interest. Greater depth of field and positioning to reduce the non-wall background might change this from documentary to something more. |

Pebbles worldby KliopatraComment: Set up shots are more difficult than they seem. The background is nicely distant. Removing the shells from the composition might help it fit the challenge better, and the color of the light is consistent with tungsten bulbs, where a color balance adjustment could tame the yellow and allow the rocks to display their character better. |
