Sorry about the mystery letter, which appears to have been an inadvertent slip of the fingers.

The spikes of frost make this look at first glance like a cactus in winter. Interesting to have a bit of residual green along with the muted red. The composition seems a bit static dead center. A shift of position to put the branch more toward the diagonal might lend a more dynamic feeling (but I don't know what you had to work with).

Ah, the younger kids might never have seen a cassette tape up close with the semi-clear fabric leader against the pressure pad. Great capture of the texture and technology. Hope my guess is close.

Mushroom for sure, so expect lower votes from those who seek a more difficult puzzle. The color cast makes it look like tungsten light without white balance correction, which is too bad because the textue is captured well. To my eye, the blank background detracts from the image compared to similar shots where the gills fill the frame (maybe partly correctable with a square crop).
