First Peekby colorcarnivalComment: I am not exactly sure what I am seeing here, but it is interesting in an abstract sort of way. It does FEEL like a shoehorn. |

Winter Sunsetby GeeeComment: Lacks a focal point and the horizon being in the middle of the image doesn't work for me. |

LAKEby jimms4Comment: Will you allow me to make a couple of suggestions? Photographing a body of water like this is tough to make look really good. There is enough wave action that you aren't getting a good clean reflection and even if it was calm there isn't anything of real quality to reflect. With a large body of water you really need something in the foreground, a plant, a limb, a boat, a rock, a dock, just something to ground the image. Secondly, the other bank of the lake is exactly in the middle of the image. That placement is not normally visually satisfying. If there was a fantastic reflection it would be acceptable, but you sense the lack of visual satisfaction in this image. You should move your lake horizon up to 2/3 or down to 1/3 of the image. Finally, there isn't much to see on the other side of the lake...flat, nothing visually stimulating. |

Keith 002.JPGby kdogg628Comment: I am not sure how you did this, but it is pretty interesting. Usually cutting off a head isn't a problem, but since the rest of him is gone...I would like to see all of his head. I guess I want some reassurance that he can use it :) |

_MG_2118.jpgby mpetersComment: Very nice image. I like the way the rock leads you into the image and the way the water breaks over the rocks. So many people over saturate the color in the sky, but yours is very nice.
I don't know if you used a polarizing filter, but I sense that there is some glare on those near rocks that might have been knocked down by a polarizer. |
