day 4 - tarantulaby rachelellenComment: Nice crisp shot of the spider with good DOF. I haven't seen them in the wild around San Diego, but they're probably here too. |

Day 3: How many cats does it take...by cginoComment: Great shot. I would have never guessed the cube cat was pasted in. You have that many cats? I thought we had too many at 3, plus our 3 dogs. The orange and white one looks like it should try out for the feline volleyball or basketball league, but of course that is your 10-20 lens and closeness to them. |

Day-3.jpgby ivale28Comment: Great shot. Nice perspective, very clear and the beautiful sky behind. I have a huge crack in my windshield, but it's not gravel roads, it's stuff thrown up from the car tires ahead on freeways. In fact I got my first windshield chip within a month of replacing the windshield (windscreen for you Brits). |

Slice of Life - Day 2 - Gourdsby JLCComment: Nice assortment of gourds. I especially like the two-tone ones like that. We get such nice colors in the Fall. Are they under a window? |

mistby whiteroomComment: The grain caused by the fog works on this picture. It looks like a southeast asian painting. I have to admit, when I first saw the thumbnail I thought it was a breast shot. I was wondering if we were getting to know you a little better. ;-) |

Rice Fireby cogeroxComment: They grow rice in California? At least the burning fields put off nice white smoke. Nice blue sky and white smoke. |

Turning 5by RetroesqueComment: He looks like an angel...at least when he's sleeping. You did manage to get him to sleep despite the excitement. Yes, the trouble with kids is that they grow up. The PP brightens it and gives it a bit of a high key look. |

day 3. slice of life. on the firetrailby rozComment: Usually I try my hardest not to get my shadow in the picture, but if that was your intention you did well. So that's what you look like. ;-) Pretty flowers and nice blue contrast, which I assume was adjusted PP? |

Day 2by thomaspeopleComment: Good angle, other than the distracting power lines. She should be looking a bit more enthusiastic at getting her first car (truck). My first car was also a Ford Galaxy 500 (1964 2 door hardtop turquoise, 352 4barrel). It was a great car, and if I hadn't sold it for something like $500 when I bought a new 1971 Ford Maverick it would be worth lots of money now! So now you have a Volvo? My wife had an '82 Volvo Bertone Coupe, also light blue, and I called it the money pit. I was glad when our son finally totalled it. |
