Really like this .. the red of his sweatshirt stands out against the varied deep browns but even with that touch of color, the mood is one of deep reflection on his (model) part. Your choice of layers/textures make it look like it's stormy - rain still falling of just passing over. Your images provoke interesting stories that hold my attention as my mind works to come up with a scenario I like most.

There is something about the expression in her eyes that pulls at my heartstrings .. the end of the fence going into her eye (and into her brain/memory) fills my mind with so many possible stories .. I love that the texture of her face is still so crisp even though the photo is dark .. and esp like the whimsical lacy collar - beautifully done.

Now this is just beautiful .. I love the full reflection of the katee AND her shadow .. great use of the overlays (or layers, textures - I never know what to call them) you made it look so vintage without losing one but of detail of your little buddy.

Congratulations on making the leap - sure looks like you have been at it for awhile too - a natural! I like this shot a lot . ..enough detail left in the dark places to make out what is there - the shutter speed was perfect and gave a great blur to the water. Nice job!
