Jun 02 - Antby hajekaComment: I agree with Sevlow . ants are darn hard to get .. think if you had been a little closer and had your ISO a little lower, you might have gotten more saturation in the ant. |

Bumblebeeby GeneralEComment: Bees are never easy to shoot as they rarely pose just the way you want them too ... I agree that having the head in focus is important but you have enough detail in this to give me the creepy crawlies :) |

IMG_0904_1_fby DeniseComment: I really like how the center color looks like it is leaking into the flower. Great find getting that long legged bug (spider?) crawling over it. Crisp where it needs to be and creates a very pretty b/g |

IMG_5983by MikeOComment: Looks like he is floating in space and the snail shell(?) looks like a planet. Very interesting shot. |

Grasshopper Nymphby MaryOComment: Mary, I would love to learn how to use extension tubes - maybe you could share a bit about what they are and how they work?
Another very delicate - even ethereal shot. I love the shades in the darkness, it's just a perfect canvas for the flowers. And you're right, he does need to grow into that antennae :) |

Fluidby Gordon_1Comment: Interesting and different from the normal drops of liquid usually posted on DP. Is it water or some thicker liquid? Pretty shades of colors in it. |

A little Webbyby KelliComment: I agree with Karen about the black, would help the composition if there were shades of deep greens as well - your photo makes a nice abstract. Foreground and b/g bokeh can really add to a shot. |

Sheep Teethby jomariComment: I love bones - I have a bunch of them. Teeth too are fascinating to me - they show wear pattern. The jaw bone of this creature is interesting. I clean my finds with peroxide and lemon and put them in the strangest places in my house. Thanks for posting something so out of the ordinary. |

Green damselfly, the secondby Pug-HComment: Like I said about another one of these flies, I can never get one - they take off the moment I get within 5 feet of them Lovely job on this guy .. I like the big catch light in it's eye and how you captured the hair so crisply on it's legs. |
