Morning Lightby pitsamanComment: beautiful stream scene. The light is a bit bright, and washes some of the colors out a tad. I can see that you were going for the overall sun streaming through trees effect. That came out well. The green trees end up being a bit washed out though. I'd love seeing this reshot at a different time of day if possible. Maybe later afternoon? 7 |

Rain Danceby BAMartinComment: I loved this the first time I saw it, and that hasn't changed. Pictures should tell a story, and this one tells a story of joy and the simple pleasure of dancing in the rain. What can be more fun than that? 9 |

Morning Fogby GatorguyComment: Nature's perfect gradient- fog. :) I love the crop here. It really helps to emphasize the subject. 8 |

Speed roundby divernickComment: This shot is all about motion. Excellent motion capture. You really nailed the concentration on both rider and horse, and show how much of this kind of sport is true teamwork. Focus seems a bit sharper on the horse than the girl. I would guess that's an autofocus issue. Might be worth playing around a bit in manual mode to see if you can get a sharper image? 9 |

Moonsetby GolferDDSComment: I really like the framing choice here. Nice colors as well. I might clone out the tree just below the moon, it's slightly distracting from the overall shot. |

Moonsetby graceeComment: I love the soft pastels here. The fog further softens the overall image. I wish the water was a bit stiller, so you had a better reflection, but this isn't really bad at all. 8 |

Busker Girlby MAKComment: Great photojournalism style shot. Makes me think of National Geographic particularly with the yellow and black border. A nice example of where a border can help. I like the juxtaposition here. Nice use of strong diagonal line in the shot (girl to guitar). 9 |

La Chaiseby BeagleboyComment: Stark spotlight, single chair. And every 30s film noir cop movie cliche in the book. Love the contrast between the dusty floor and the chair. Dark and moody. I keep expecting Jimmy Cagney to walk in. 9 |

Once in a lifetimeby 0055Comment: Wow. This is a shot that better be up on your wall. This is all about contrasting textures, and trust. the soft moving wings, against the tree branches, and the extended hand. The thumb ring adds an extra bit of texture to the hand, and makes it more real. Nice crop. 10 |

winter web by nordicComment: I see you! Interesting self portrait in a way. The delicate strands of the web contrast nicely with the fat drops of water. Like a spider, it pulls you into the shot. 9 |
