Summer's End — Sunriseby Bear_MusicComment: Wow! Clearly a winner. My only 10 in this challenge. That has to be the best use of color-contrast in a non-studio photo I've ever seen! |

White on Whiteby JeanComment: Wish I'd seen this one during voting, it's so hard to do high-key just right like this. Of course you proved your mastery of the subject with your fabulous "Where's Waldo" photo! |

Spinning Circlesby kyeboshComment: Hey that's my idea! Actually, you took the idea much further, I like how your shutter is so slow that you get a full revolution in the blur. And the duo-tone gives it an interesting antique feel. See if you spot mine in the other 465 ;-) (Actually, it turns out there's three of us with this idea, and I'm pretty sure the third one will beat us both. Looks he mounted the camera on the bike, yikes!) |

Can Kickersby spreadcomComment: Getting so tired of old shoe photos that I almost gave yours a 4 like the rest, but just realized this one is good! Something about the simplicity, composition, and quality of light makes this photo stand out amongst literally hundreds of unbelievably unimaginative photos - 8 |

Break Free by elsapoComment: Finally, after what seems like 100 3's and 4's, a really good photo! Composition is excellent, you captured your model at a great moment, and the high saturation works welll with the simple scene. Would be a 10 if not for the artifact along the horizon (slightly excessive sharpening?), and the slightly funky sky (too much messing with curves?). 9 |

Fight for your right! To be wear!by La VistaComment: I don't get the title "To be wear", some kind of a pun? But a worse problem is that there is no structure to the composition. The jumble is obviously your point, but there's nothing to catch the eye. Also some of the whites are blown and the DOF is in that awkward stage of almost containing the whole scene, but not quite. |
