In cases of emergency by HauxonComment: Thingvellir? Great idea, but the bright pink sky in the upper left just plain looks wrong. Also the halos around the water's edge and the cliff on the right are too obvious. HDR gone wrong? |

Hangar, Gulls and Geeseby posthumousComment: Excellent use of color and selective sharpness (did you blur the background or is that natural? Either way it looks great!). But a bit too much foreground, I'd sacrifice the two geese in the lower left corner and crop just below the third one. Or get radical and loose them all and go for the panoramic look, since the hanger and background works all by itself. |

Time to Call it a Dayby JonathanJComment: Good composition, but I don't like the extreme color-shift. Those bright purple waves just don't work for me. |

"We've come for your liver."by sherComment: Great idea and almost a great image, but the strong halo-artifacts around the wires (over-sharpening?) bring it down to a 6 |

The Heartbeat of Treesby bucketComment: Now there's a truly original concept! Not fond of the thick borders, but the image itself is excellent, both in concept and technical execution - 9 |

Let's pick on the fat kid...by silverscreenComment: Great idea, but over-sharpened (or whatever postprocessing left the obvious halos). Also there's an accidental alignment of the vertical fold in the background and a vertical highlight on one of the peppers that I find distracting. |
