Painted Sunsetby karmatComment: Oh my, such lovely vibrant sky colors! I love how you have the evergreen silhouetted against that sky, this is gorgeous! We have a lot of colorful skies here in NM, but not a lot of evergreens :-) |

Day 6 of 50 - Retiredby krafty1Comment: Oh, I love the colors on the clunker! Very well done!!! Another way to focus the attention on the clunker would be the square crop, loosely dictated by this challenge :-) |

When It All Explodesby karmatComment: Actually, having the fireworks a bit OOF then sharpened gives the shot a unique look that is very cool! |

day 5 - in the shadeby rachelellenComment: I feel for ya', we're in pretty much the same boat in NM! What an amazing coincidence that you purchased a very photogenic thermometer when you weren't even thinking about photographing it... :-) Love the image, it speaks for itself! |

Day-05.jpgby KenComment: Ahh, the famous lighthouse :-) I really love this image, to echo others' comments the lines are fantastic (love the clouds lined up with the breakwater) and the b&w really works! Although you photograph this lighthouse often, all of the shots are unique and original -- what a great skill you have!
(And I agree about the square crop; I didn't like it at first but it is forcing me to do something different so I like it after all.) |

Day 5 Early Morning Moonby jackal9Comment: Nicely done for a 300mm lens! Most of those really sharp images you see utilize a telescope, if only a small one :-)
If you are interested in imaging the Moon you may be interested in this article (not mine) I saw on spaceweather.com recently about capturing the colors of the Moon:

Again, well done :-)
