They Call Me Mellow Yellowby quicheComment: Excellent composition and I like the muted colors.
I don't think this is St.John's wort - too many petals. It usually has only 5. |

Neon Gaillardiaby quicheComment: You're right, it is a lot of fun! I don't know if it's the darker background in this one but I almost find it works better than the original! Keep the experiments coming - they're fun to look at and I learn new stuff! |

Extreme Mexican Hatby quicheComment: Never seen those flowers before. Really weird what your sensor did with it. Did you notice that one petal looks like it is transparent, just like stained glass? |

300_5447day8.jpgby salmiakkiComment: Just beautiful! The dof is perfect for me: the flowers seems to float on top of a sea of dark green. Excellent work! |

6-august 08 flowers. pinkby rozComment: Love the processing you did on this. Your mastery of these filter effects never ceases to amaze me. And after reading your comment about how fast they are and how you shot manually, this is even better.
We learn so much around you roz! Thank you for sharing this. |

TULIP - Day 3 - Originalby sherpetComment: Incredible color and the small area of pure black just balances it out nicely. I prefer this version to the blurred one. |

TWIRL Blur - Day 2 by sherpetComment: This treatment makes the flower disappear completely to leave behind just a whirlwind of bright orange. Makes me think of the dervishes, you know, this tribe that searches for religious illumination by spinning like crazy. The women wear brightly colored skirts to spin - just like your flower! |

Lens Flareby BAMartinComment: Some people hate flare and you read all these photography article on how to avoid it... Nonsense! I think it is one of the most beautiful optical phenomenon when properly controlled, which you did very well here. it enhances the greast back lighting your flower has. Lovely! |

Behind the Daisyby BAMartinComment: I like the B&W treatment and the glow you gave it all. The image seems a bit soft (not sure if this was your decision or not) but I think it works well because it focuses our attention on the tones and not the sharpness of any pixel... |
