An interesting idea. However, the greenery in the background rather belies the wording of the 'ad'.

Nice. I somehow feel I should be able to read Yamha somehwere on the bike but I don't look at car/motorcycle magazines so perhaps not.

....POOL COVERS YOUR CHILDRENS SAFETY IS EASY AS DOGS PLAY
by Rando D300

Comment:
I'm not sure about the analogy. It's not in common parliance so it's kind of off for me. It's a fun shot of the dog but I shouldn't be seeing the debris on the pool cover which is presumably the product. It really doesn't say 'advertisment' to me. Original entry, though.

On a non-DPC note, I must say it's gratifying to see someone taking this sensible approach to safe pool ownership. In Rhode Island, a local soldier, stationed in Iraq, had to return home last week because his toddler drowned in the family swimming pool. A cover like this would have prevented that tragedy.

Interesting. The focus on the processor is a bit fuzzy or perhaps just noisy from compression. I think this is just too busy for an advertisment.

Time Magazine

This is a decent composition with good use of available light. It really doesn't say 'advertisement' to me, though. I can't see this being an ad for Time magazine. It doesn't say anything about the product.
It says more about the magazine holder.

It looks like you may have been sampling some of the product because this is not in focus. I am seeing double and I haven't been drinking anything stronger than coffee.

I suggest a tripod next time.

Interesting. I can't quite figure out what the metal ring and black stuff is under the lens. Am I missing something?

Haha. Not bad. The lighting is good (except for the shadow under the hammer and the 'new & improved lettering). I had to tilt my head to read the label on the hammer so I would say that touch was just gilding the lily.

Very nice. The lighting is a bit blown out at the bottom but they may be intentional. I would like to see a bit less wrinkling on the label but that may have been hard to prevent. Overall, one of the better I've seen so far.

Very nice. I think we should actually be able to see some coffe in the can, as well. The composition is a bit more tilted from above then I would like. It gives the appearance that the objects are in danger of sliding off the lower edge of the frame.
