Stare Downby jonnieComment: I don't think that the cat's nose is it's most compelling feature. The sharper focus should have been on his eyes. blurring out the nose instead. |

S2 Turbineby ecameronComment: Well done. This is kind of a ho-hum subject for me, though. I've seen a lot of this type of train shot (toy or otherwise) on DPC and they never interested me much in the first place. After seeing the umpteenth photo like this it is hard to look at one with a fresh perspective. I'm not crazy about that really wide border and my instinct is that you could have been a teeny bit more generous with the cropping so that there was a little more space above the subject and just in front to create more of an feeling of movement. Technically, it looks good to me. |

Never seen it that way beforeby LokiComment: A nice effort. There is a bit too much blurred empty space without enough contrast of tonality for my liking. Perhaps a tighter crop and a bit closer focus on the main subject. |

Hatchby marvinComment: Nice contrast of bright color against a white background. The glare on the ceramic egg is a bit harsh. I don't care much for this rather narrow cropping. I would crop about an inch of the right side of the frame
so that there isn't quite as much white space surrounding the red egg. |

Ornamentsby banmornComment: This is very interesting and suggests quite a bit of thought and planning. I think I would like this better if the top were cropped to eliminate the edges of the chicken wire (if that is indeed what this is). The empty space at the top and the jagged edges bother me. |

Festive collars just right for the holidays.by BradComment: This is how an animal shot should be done. Great job! One of my favorites. The cat is gorgeous and his accessories look carefully chosen for color harmony. I really like the high key mood. |
