Color balanceby alexgarciaComment: The scale pulls too much focus from the pleasing pattern created by the bins and their contents. |

Paprikaby mia67Comment: I mostly like this. I think the focus could be sharper and there is too much glare on the peppers. |

...or backlighting?by LevTComment: The seed pod and the leaf on the right pull focus from an otherwise pleasing composition. |

Mantlepieceby shamrockComment: I like the unconventional framing. I don't like the shadows behinnd the flowers (or the fact they are fake). Try placing the subject a bit further away from the background to reduce harsh shadows. |

Please Don't Pee On Me!by amsterComment: I like that you didn't resort to selective desaturation for this shot. I commend that you relied on the subject to pull the focus. I think this shot would have benefitted from a lower angle of view instead of this angled down shot. |

A Rainbow and Mistletoeby Faye PekasComment: A lucky capture. Still, I find this rather drab. The color doesn't make quite enough of an impact against the dull sky and the trees. The roofs should have been cropped out. |

Smile!by slo007Comment: This could be excellent if it were bigger and I could evaluate more of the actual image quality. As it is, it's too small to really get an idea of the sharpness and the color doesn't make enough of an impact. |

Winter in Yorkshireby RiponladyComment: Blah...selective desaturation. I think the dogs pull too much focus in an otherwise pleasing composition. I think if this had been shot on an actually cloudy day, you could have succeeded with color by blurring the background and eliminating the dogs and the subjects patterned shirt. Oddly, the umbrella appears a bit pale and washed out to me. |

Rapper!by permapierComment: I like the burst of turquoise in his head wrap but ultimately, this cropping is just too cramped for me---he looks contorted. His closed eyes give this a snapshot sort of feel. |
