day 4. SEPT B&W. katee againby rozComment: I really like the DOF you're getting on these. I think I need to pull my 105 f2.8 out and try some...hopefully I'll get the same kind of results. |

day 5. SEPT B&W. mother & childby rozComment: Awesome Roz, I'd love to see these in person. I really like the soft look of the photo...very dreamlike. The photo of them taking off is pretty cool as well. Nice job. |

Abandonedby RetroesqueComment: Awesome photo. I like the processing....what did you do to the sky? Looks like an old film photo. Very nicely done. |

Denseby RetroesqueComment: Great shot, I wonder how a long exposure right after the sun goes down would look? I think it would get rid of the somewhat distracting tops of the trees. Great composition, I like it. |

Day3a-Bank-gates.jpgby salmiakkiComment: Nice interesting details, I think some fill lighting on the top of the gate would have helped to bring the details out there as well. I find that if I can't get the angle to look right I sometimes try to go the extreme then, like laying on the ground looking up at the subject (or down). With the 18-200 you have you can add lots of interesting lines (and shadows) this way because of the large range.
I like the processing, the tones look good. |
