this is cropped to the max ..
i was at home and rod, the guy who's doing the painting of the extension, said he'd seen heaps of kangaroos in the paddock that we can see from the house ... he said they were probably still there .. i quickly grabbed my camera and walked over to the paddock .. i saw these two and started taking photographs .. i was quite a long way from them .. i crawled thru the fence and took more shots .. when i got too close they took off ...
there were about eight of them, which i didnt realise when photographing these two ..
this is when they took off ..

Nice capture, I find it a bit too dreamlike for the subject, not sure if that is processing or a result of the hard crop.

I'd love to know haw you get you backgrounds to look so dreamy! A little soft on the focus probably due to the hard crop. Nice!

Awesome Roz, I'd love to see these in person. I really like the soft look of the photo...very dreamlike. The photo of them taking off is pretty cool as well. Nice job.

Great capture! They seem to know you are there and are striking a pose for you. Processing is a little soft...would have liked to see a bit crisper detail on the kangaroo.
