Can't see any liquid connection. In fact, can't see much of anything. Not sure what you were going for here. 1

Nice colors. Utlimately, I'm not sure what I'm looking at (beside oil).

Who says you can't be creative and still stick with the theme??? Great idea. The set-up is very good, I like the composition. The focus seems a bit soft. The lighting, I can't decide - it's sort of interesting, but I can't get past it being a bit dark. Overall, great shot.

My guess is this photo was flipped upside down! Hope to find out after the challenge is over...

It's a sort of interesting image, colors, lighting and composition are OK. I think a little more of the foreground in focus would work better - the blur hurts the eyes a little. I think if you could have brought a little more out of that center drip - through light, better focus, something - it would have helped a lot. 5

I knew I recognized that JP bulb! I had my gall bladder out in January, had complications, and had one of those things hanging out of me for almost a month. Was that not the weirdest sensation when they pull that thing out??? Sorry I couldn't bring myself to score higher - the image just had too fresh and real-world a connotation for me to get past. :-)

Alright, if this is what I think it is, that's just gross. Just had surgery four months ago, and this looks like the drainage tube that collected the puss and fluid out of my incision. Beyond that, there's no real focus (subject wise) and is very blurry. I suppose that could be an "artistic" choice, but it doesn't work for me.

Sorry, I'm not getting it. I see what looks like some glass, but it's out of focus and I can't tell what it is. Without some context, the DOF seems too shallow and I don't see anything interesting.

Way too noisey, too many reflections (peekaboo, I see you!). I like the perspective, and what I just realized is the reflection (good in this case :-) ) of the vase in the mirror behind. Nice try, give NeatImage a shot.

Challenging idea. (Thought about trying it myself, but wasn't motivated enough...) Pretty good job of stopping the motion, but the focus isn't real clear, probably due to the shallow DOF. The lighting doesn't help either. The monotone treatment - it's OK, but not real striking. Good try, results aren't too bad.
