The Pelicanby JedusiComment: Cracking shot Steve - couldn't you have shoehorned this into a challenge somewhere? |

Envious Angerby scorpbiaComment: Bonus marks for being about as abstract as they come! It looks a bit like a PC power supply, in which case even more kudos for spotting the image in the mundane. |

The fire withinby hanserikComment: In this challenge I've been looking for shape, colour and form to convey the emotion.
One of only two 10s from me in this challenge. |

griefby skewsmeComment: In this challenge I've been looking for colour and form to convey the emotion. This absolutely nails it. Excellent use of texture, shape and colour so 10. |

Lost Soulby optixComment: You're breaking my heart on this one. This is a gorgeous animal portrait, beautiful expression, delicate lighting that works brilliantly in black and white and the contrast between the silky hair and the roughness of the background is just fantastic. In a free study it would be an instant 10, but I'm just struggling with the abstract angle on the shot as it the very directness of the image that gives it it's power.
But ignore me and this challenge - for crying out loud just get this into a major exhibition, get it published, just get it out there where it deserves to be. |

The Land Before Timeby robaComment: This remains a stunning shot, beautifully processed and with a great title and 80th place doesn't do it credit. Glad to see Posthumous coming through with the red ribbon - it's well deserved.

Oh to soar!by smurfguyComment: Intriguing use of motion blur and I'm interested in how the front skate has stayed sharp. Classic rule-of-thirds composition and a strong blue-to-white contrast (leggings to rink and sleeves to background) make this a graphically strong image. You certainly convey the desire for speed and flight, and although the link to the challenge may not be strong enough for many this remains an excellent image that you should be proud of. |
