30th place does *not* do this shot justice. Should have been top 10 in my opinion.

Beautiful bird photo, I love the textures on his breast and the colors on his wing. The twisting branches that create a natural frame around him really make the photo magical. Although the background is good and blurry, for some reaosn I find it a bit distracting. Anyhow, one of my challenge favorites.

Nice clarity on the bird. Wonder about a variation in composition, mainly to eliminate the other elements, which while nice, compete a little too much with the bird.

Pretty bird, especially like the little pink strerak, our bluebirds don't have that. Well composed, nice color, saturation and contrast. Nice job.

This is a very nice capture - I like the moss stuff both hanging around the bird and as shadows on it. There's a very good sense of depth to the shot. The color is just right, and the centered composition works very well here because of the balance provided by the tree trunk.

GReat colors and angle. DOF is perfect too. Is this bird alive? It looks like too good of a shot to have alive bird. GREAT JOB!! I really hope people appreciate the technical perfection of this photo.

What wonderful feather that bird has! I wonder what type of bird has blue and pink feathers like that?

This is really nicely composed shot, interestingly framed with the tree and it looks like beautifully balanced flash to lift the brest and add catchlight. Great colour palette too.

Lovely composition, love how it is framed by the branches & moss. I don't know what this bird is, a Mockingbird? Whatever it is we don't have them around here.
