Light Kissed Cheekby M_JayneComment: Great to see such a delicate balance and tone in a shot. The softness of the rug gives a warm and gentle background whilst helping give diffuse light back up into the image to balance out the main source. The baby's pose is so relaxed and natural and the whole effect is superb. |

One and lonely.by anferhComment: 9 for having the nerve to enter something this minimalist and pulling it off. Crop is perfect and the post is essential. Just enough snow to give the impression of coldness without making the elements indistinct. Brilliant. |

Taj Mahalby tyt2000Comment: Wonderful balance between the two main elements of the shot. Cloudy overcast look to the sky is reflected in the downcast pose of the boy and there is clear separation between the power and wealth of the Taj Mahal facing out of the shot whilst the boy and camel are at right angles to it, ignoring it and passing it by. |

Dead Calmby GIS_boyComment: Perfect blend of elements. Great balance of the reflections of the masts versus the horizontal elements. Needs the low cloud to give a strong broad horizontal element and the cloud also blocks the stronger light allowing the softer tones to come through in the sky and water. Beautiful colours to finish off. 10. |

Portrait of a Predatorby JedusiComment: Like the isolation of the white against the neck and background. Crisp, clean shot and a decent result in a competitive challenge.
Now put the 100-400 down and back slowly away from the raptor centre Steve - how am I going to get any of my zoo shots over 6 if you keep hogging those slots ;-) |

Medusa and her deadly hairby JudiComment: Coming back to comment.
*Very* nearly missed the point of this - medusa is so strongly associated with snakes I was puzzled that there was no allusion to them in the shot. Had to go digging to find out about Medusa and her magic/prehensile red hair whereupon it all makes sense.
Great model, exceptional make-up and wonderful hair. One of two 10s in the challenge. |

The Amazing Spider-Manby RingostarrComment: Nice double exposure and the boy's expression is spot on. A pity that the mask size doesn't match the head size, but you were right to concentrate on getting the jaw lines to match up and to have a darkish top of the image which helps minimise this. |

Gigawatts!!by BAMartinComment: Nice idea, but a pity there wasn't enough light around to get it tack sharp from the helicopter/plane. |
