Greetmirby MelethiaComment: Okay, OKAY! ... It's a good photo ... but she could have done a bit of SOMEthing about the neck wrinkles in Photoshop. SHEESH!
:)
... and I sure as heck wasn't posing ... she has so many cameras and so many lenses that you never know WHAT she is capturing.
She is SUCH a sniper!

Walkabout Flowers 077.jpgby bennettjamieComment: Yes ... I like the DoF too but WHERE the focus is ... that sets this aside a bit IMO ... the tips of the fragile pistils (well ... I think that is what they are) makes me think that I am right there (maybe even cross-eyed) looking at this. I think it is a very professional looking image ...
except ... I find myself so OFTEN preaching the "Rule of Thirds" that I hope ppl don't think that it is a law ... but it REALLY IS proven to caress the eye. THIS photo IMO would benefit greatly by just a just SLIGHTLY different crop that would make it IN YOUR FACE pretty.
... just my opinion but if you wanna send me a 5-6 meg image of it ... I could SHOW you how I think it could be devastatingly good (again IMO) as far as the crop making the statement. I hope this is just a BIT of a crop and not full frame ... but even then I would love to play with the crop of such an image and see if you like it better ...
but ... oh ... BTW ... I like this image a LOT! |

Having a Bit of Funby LadyKComment: Dayam!
I wish I was responsible for this shot.
I donno if this is cropped already and what proportions you might have available to you but ... IMO ... If the top left Rule of Thirds intersection fell half way between her right eye (remember HER right eye) and the right side of her nose, I thing it would be a SUPERB photo that uses the Rule of Thirds at its best to enhance the photo.
But IMO ... the capture is fantastic and only sniffs a tiny bit of posing. (That could be translated to used to posing ask in royalty or so NOT posing that people will believe it is TOO elegant to NOT have been posed ... or HELLO ppl ... look at the background ... its not a candid shot of a girlie prancing through the daisies.)
Anyways ... my main point was made clear in the first sentence after the salutation.
Congrats ... I think I like it a bit ...
