All Wetby cloudsmeComment: Love the shot! Not sure if I especially like the toning - perhaps with a bit more contrast. I'd like to see this shot in color, but great capture! |

Full Bloomby LoreneComment: Nice coloring and composure. I think the water drops are a little overdone here... |

Mixing of Colorby deepfrog17Comment: An interesting take on an increasingly common shot. My feeling, though, is that an effects background has been used (monitor? painting?) and not a shallow DOF to create any real bokeh. |

_-_by PhotoRynoComment: Nice capture! I think that cropping off the area under the feeder would strengthen this shot. |

blue jungleby saintaugustComment: The selective desaturation is just not doing it for me here. I'm guessing that the full color version would be quite a bit beter. |

Simplicity Rose Budby skulinsComment: This photo is suffering from a few things. First and foremost, it seems to have quite a bit of artifacting, most likely from the method you've used to resize. I suspect someone has already mentioned it, but if not, take a look at this tutorial on preparing your images for challenges. //www.dpchallenge.com/tutorial.php?TUTORIAL_ID=26
Secondly, it looks like you used an on-camera flash and that it gave you quite harsh lighting in the foreground.
Lastly, the background is quite distracting and unfortunately not out of focus enough to help support the subject of your photo. A wider aperture and more distance between your subject and background can help with that. |

Maasby zanobiniComment: I don't see anything that I could consider bokeh, even with the loosest interpretation. |
