 This is a gerber daisy with blue christmas lights taped on the wall in the background. Used a light shining straight up from underneath the flower, and one shining from the side and slightly above. Sprayed with water (the flower, not the light). Shot in macro mode.

I love this - what is that blue stuff in the BG? I love the bloom, but I am captured by wondering what the rest is. NIce "bokeh"

Oh wow - I just wispered to myself in my cubicle. The only drawback is the top left corner sharpening effect. Otherwise very, very nice!

too close to the camera there isn't much in the forground or background to be the bokeh. In another challenge it would be awsome, because it's a truely beautiful picture, but not enough for this challenge IMO. 5 (only because it is a beautiful flower pic)
