I think it does, but I don't have any problem with such a wonderful photo. Perhaps the lighthouse shouldn't be placed in the centre. |

02 - Daybreakby ErikVComment: Great silhouette. Wonderful view of this city with beautiful colors. This just looks like a very quiet morning, only disturbed by the bright light (?) on the left. Perhaps a little cloning or cropping would help.

Keeping my toes out of the waterby tinky2Comment: It's a kind of water bird, so there shouldn't be any problem and (as said by  cogerox) what is water without birds? Reflection of the toes is wonderful.
But I agree with you, this is more a photo of a bird than of water.

01 - Wood Duckby ErikVComment: Nice duck and I do like the reflections (just can't see enough of those) and the water ripples.
It looks a little bit oversharpened (but I'm not an expert) and the green in the top is somewhat distracting. |
