day18.jpgby MadMan2kComment: Carnivals are a blur, even without a camera. I like that you exposed long enough to make it look like everything is in motion, which is the way it is at a carnival. |

Female Tigerby SJCarterComment: I see that the wings are moving. I am curious about what shutter speed you used for this capture. I am guessing 125 or 180. Nice color, and nice tidbit of info too. |

Chef's Surpriseby SandyPComment: Yes, Yum, and more yum. I can almost hear the sound that goes with this shot. It's a very magnetic image. What a tough job you have. |

Zoomby KatmystiryComment: This looks like huge fun! The chosen shutter speed and lens combo gives this just the right amount of blur. Your son looks like he is in the "happy zone" in this shot. |

Frankly Fakeby GermaineComment: Panning with a long lens is a good way to multiply the mountains. This is just fine as a fake sunrise. It has been so long since I saw the sunrise that I can't remember exactly what they are supposed to look like anyway. As you said, the colors are strange, but pleasing. Good "blurrage". : ) |

american.jpgby electrolostComment: You have this looking a lot like a shot from the 1950's. Good work! It's good that you had your camera with you too. |

SD18: Eternal Flameby cginoComment: That was a good move while the shutter was open. Good capture, and good tune up later. Ditto what SandyP said. |

spy.by ShannonLeeComment: It's interesting how you used dark space to get the "rule of thirds" and to keep the viewers focus only on the subject. The round image with the light pole shadow infers a mental image of the man in a scope's cross hairs.
Nice desat with the small patch of green and blue to give it a little more mystery. |

Solariumby LanndonKaneComment: This is a great contrast of items in this scene. The hard frame at the top is a fine shot in itself, but you kept the human element with the street scene at the bottom too which adds scale and interest. It is like two images that work well with each other. The B&W/ toning is just crisp and nice for this too. |
