The Photojournalistby GringoComment: This is a good mix of characters. I can visualize a news photog running around with one of these and back to his typewriter at the office to type up the story while the negs dry. This is a photo with a story in it, which seems to be true of most of your images. |

A little TOO cheap, I suppose.by Yo_SpiffComment: I see what looks like a little diagram at the upper left, just over the film path? Is that directions for loading it? That's a strange camera. Even if you unspool the film and put it on the left, how would you know how far to advance it for the next shot?
Can't wait to see the pix. : )
On second thought, maybe it had power wind to a spool on the left that's missing, and the knurled knob is for rewinding the film into the cartridge when it is exposed. I don't see an advance lever of any kind. Look in the top of the pocket on the left for a drive for a take up spool. Maybe you can make one from the spool out of a roll of film if it's missing.

Mar 27 - Pancakesby hajekaComment: I love pancakes, and most any other kind of bread. I never thought of trying to bake them, or take a close up photo of them LOL. You are making me want to taste these. Got a recipe? |

Folmer & Schwing Graflex 3Aby krnodilComment: If you want to work on the bellows yourself, you may want to try "liquid electric tape", which is basically black liquid rubber. If there are big holes, you can put tape with a tiny bit of wax paper on it over the hole, then paint the liquid on, and remove the tape when the liquid is dry. I have used it for several fixups on old cars to repair cracked rubber weather seals, and it works great. |

Oympus IS-1by Yo_SpiffComment: I was pretty much away from shooting film when these came out, so never even paid attention to what was going on at that time. I loved my old all manual Canon Tx and the couple of lenses that I used with it. It's cool to see how the technology evolved. |
