A 35mm superzoom from 1990. A $20 find at a pawshop. It was marked at $30, but as almost nobody wants a film camera these days, pawn shops will discount readily, happy to get it off their shelves.

Batteries still have power and it appears to work. I'll probably use this one ocassionally to see what it does. My expectation is that a film superzoom will have superior results to a digital superzoom, as you don't have the issue with a smaller and noisier sensor.

Ran into this interesting N.Y. times review about it from 20 years ago.

I was pretty much away from shooting film when these came out, so never even paid attention to what was going on at that time. I loved my old all manual Canon Tx and the couple of lenses that I used with it. It's cool to see how the technology evolved.

135mm at the long end, the wide end is 35mm.
