My Favorite Thingby JutildaComment: Lovely color scheme in this shot. I like the "Well when are you going to put that stupid camera down and throw it again?" look. |

Great Blue Heronby stargazer05766Comment: Color and focus for this shot are wonderful. The cattails blowing add the element of wind to my perception of the scene in the image. |

Port Botany Expansion Project - Sydney by rozComment: Congrats Roz! I think I see a bug on the top left corner of that big crane in the middle of the shot. The puddle helped a lot with the composition in this. |

Circlesby macwilyumComment: Nicely seen scene. The purple hew works well with the plastic, and composition with the overhead pov is very strong. |

6-august 10 wotever. ann-marie and kateeby rozComment: This is a very natural looking scene Roz, except for that big bug on the wall : )
It's always a treat when you find a scene like this where the natural light spotlights the subject. Wonderful shot. |

Fire on the North Rimby AliciaComment: This smoke cloud is very similar to what we see here in S Florida when they burn sugarcane fields just before they harvest them. They burn on days when the air is still, so that they can control the fire, and the cloud of smoke rises so high that it condenses the vapor in the smoke when it gets into the cooler higher atmosphere.
This image is quite striking with the deep reds of the canyon and blue of the sky around the cloud of smoke. |
