If it weren't for the title, I'd not have gotten the idea of "abandoned" being part of this shot. It seems more like a high altitude landscape.

This was a really MOVING shot! I am SO happy that it won a ribbon....first and foremost for your sake, but mostly because it may be one of the very few times that we will see an entry in here that doesn't necessarily have the "DPC, technical perfection, stock shot" look to it actually ribbon!!!

I really like the assortment of shapes, colors as well as my fave part....the sparkles off of it all. Just call it Blingage! Nicely done! The guy looks a bit like Jack Nicholson! LOL I think that the border kind of detracts and you are likely taking flack for it, right? My bet is that you're fairly new to DPC, right? I had to learn that lesson the hard way too! LOL I learned all too quickly about the framing and borders. It's fun but, DPCers don't tend to like them very much and will down scores because of it. I'm not! I am judging the photo for the photo. :)
